Carole Taylor

Carole (Van Daveer) Taylor, age 69, of Louisburg, KS, passed away at her home on February 5, 2014. She was born August 11, 1944 in Wyandotte County, KS, the daughter of Harold and Genevieve (Corbett) Van Daveer. She was united in marriage to William R. Taylor on June 2, 1978 at Belvidere, Illinois. They made their home in Illinois, moving to Louisburg four years ago. Carole was a secretary for many years at multiple locations. She enjoyed doing craft projects. One of her favorites was painting and firing ceramics for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, William R. Taylor, of the home; one son, Robert Taylor, Hot Springs, Ark; three daughters, Robin LaBuy (Todd), Hot Springs, ARK; Cheryl Kelly (Chris), Louisburg, KS; and Sandra Garland (Rodney),Olathe, KS; one brother, Harold Van Daveer (Judy), Olathe, KS; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Mayberry (Nathan), Independence, MO; Karla and Kristin Kelly, Louisburg, KS, Conrad and fianc" Tiffany Gilbert, Olathe, KS; Brandon Garland, Olathe, KS; Caitlyn Hipp, Urbandale, Iowa and Taylor LaBuy, Hot Springs, Ark; and four great grandchildren, Brehonna and Nevaeh Garland and Rebekah and Elizabeth Mayberry.
