Carol Gruhle, 64, Williamsburg, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at Olathe Medical Center. She was born Jan. 31, 1942, at Riley to Clifford W. and Velma (Dixon) Hudson. She lived in Williamsburg since 1999, moving from Newton, Kansas. Carol was a homemaker. She was a member of Williamsburg Supper Club, Williamsburg Women`s Club, Bible study groups, and regular attendee at Williamsburg City Council meetings. On December 31, 1970, Carol was united in marriage with James Gruhle in Troy, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1997. Survivors include daughters, Donna Tipton and her husband, Sam, Williamsburg; Annie Clark and her husband, Gary, Moundridge; and Terry Sartain, Newton; sons, Ronnie Sartain and his wife, Cindy, Newton; Michael Gruhle and his wife, Diane, Wichita; brother, Forrest Hudson and his wife, Wilma, Wamego; sisters, Glodean Bell and her husband, Richard, San Jose, Calif.; Jolene Walsh and her husband, Jerry, Wamego; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold Hudson. SERVICES: Cremation is planned. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. CEMETERY: Tuttle Creek Cemetery, Manhattan, Kansas.
