Carol E. Stubler

Carol E. Stubler, 82, of Baldwin City, Kansas, passed away, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Morningstar Care Homes Dunn’s Vista, Baldwin City, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 12, 2021, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. The family will meet with friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the mortuary. Interment Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, Kansas. Carol was born, June 13, 1938 in Princeton, Kansas, the daughter of Howard and Grace (Phillips) Brown. She lived in Wellsville and the Franklin County area moving to Olathe in the mid 1980’s. Carol graduated from Rantoul High School with the class of 1956. She was united in marriage to Harold Gregg August 3, 1957 in Franklin County. They later divorced. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lyle Brown. Survivors include two children, Tameria Shipley of Ottawa and Byron Gregg (Crystal Leigh Adell) of Pomona; sister, Wilma Ball (Ron) of Princeton; brother, Charles Brown (Bernice) of Garnett; grandchildren, Crystal Dickinson (William), Angela Folsom (Jason), Adam Shipley, Cassandra Ancharski (Bianca) and Tyler Gregg; and five great grandchildren. Carol worked as a supervisor at King Radio in Ottawa from the 1970’s to the 1980’s, Tall Grass Inc., Lenexa, in the 1980’s and 1990’s, Vectron International, Lenexa in the 1990’s and Computer Wise as an assembler in Olathe from the late 1990’s to 2020. She was very a very caring person and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
