Carol Ann Mason

Carol Ann Mason, age 66, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Friday, March 23, 2012. She was born on Thursday, January 31, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (DeVaroe) Kime. She was a resident of Ottawa since 1967, moving from Detroit. Carol graduated from a high school in Detroit and attended the University of Michigan two years. She worked in assembly for King Radio of Ottawa thirty years, then was a personal care attendant for Mason’s Memory, LLC, of Ottawa, retiring in 2010. Carol was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. On Friday, May 5, 1967, Carol was united in marriage with Louis L. “Boots” Mason in Ottawa. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2011. She is survived by her: Daughter – Debora Mille of Salina, Kansas; Daughter – Cynthia Weber and her husband, William, of Williamsburg, Kansas; Daughter – Patricia Mason of Nebraska; Grandchildren – (7) Sarah Mille, Jacob Mille, Jerico Mayfield, Persha Mason, Jenifer Mayfield, Cody Weber, Samantha Weber; Great-Grandchildren – (2) Victoria Coronodo, Veronica Detar and Many Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by her: Husband – Louis L. “Boots” Mason; Parents – Kenneth and Margaret Kime; Sister – Dianie McCord and Brother – Timothy Kime. SERVICES: Carol’s wishes were to be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date.
