Carol Ann Glover, a long-time resident of Paola Kansas, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at home. Born in 1945, in Lexington Missouri, Carol worked at First Baptist Church as a secretary part time until her children were old enough to attend school. After that, she decided to go back to work full time at Miami County National Bank, now Great Southern Bank, in Paola to remain close to her family as they moved through school and to support them in their numerous school activities. She was a regular at school sporting events, school plays and 4-H events. Eventually, the children went off to college and she moved on to finish her career with Johnson County Government in the Facilities Department. She met and fell in love with Robert Glover. They married on November 6, 1964. They shared 54 adventurous years of life together, traveling extensively over the United States and even went to Central America to see the Panama Canal. She loved to quilt, crochet and garden but mostly she loved spending time with her family and friends doing whatever they could dream up together and she wasn’t opposed to making a little mischief on occasion. Carol is survived by her husband Robert “Bob”, her son Robert Jr., her daughter Kara Endicott, her 4 sisters and one brother. Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Carol’s memory.
