Carol Ann Collins

Carol Collins, 76, of Paola, KS, passed away at 2:00 am Christmas morning. She knew she was loved and departed in the presence of her daughter Tammie and her beloved sister Cathy. Carol was born October 27, 1942 at Ottawa, KS, the daughter of Andrew "Andy" and Mary (Morton) Collins. She attended school in Paola. After attending nursing school, Carol worked as an LPN in the health care profession. She had worked at Olathe Hospital and Medical Lodge in Paola. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Andrew "Andy" and Mary Collins and her sister Linda Collins. She is survived by her daughter Tammie Ahrens and son Todd Horttor both of Paola; her sister Cathy of Naples, FL; her brother Gary Collins of Tucson, AZ; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
