Carol A. Mille

Carol A. Mille, age 79, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was born on Wednesday, December 7, 1932, in Princeton, Kansas, the daughter of Narva Alvin and Emma Agnes (Sassaman) Sellers. Carol was a lifelong Franklin County, Kansas resident. She attended area rural schools. She worked twenty-nine years for the H. D. Lee Company until it closed in October of 1988, and later worked two years for Designer Products as an embroidery operator, and three years as a seamstress for Athletic Lettering, all of Ottawa, retiring in the early 1990’s. Carol was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ottawa and the Altar Society. On September 7, 1953, Carol was united in marriage with Kenneth James Mille in Ottawa, Kansas. He survives of their home. She is survived by her: Husband – Kenneth J. Mille of their home Son – Mark S. Mille and his wife, Judy, of Ottawa, Kansas Son – Kenny Mille, Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of Pomona, Kansas Daughter – Paula M. Smith and her husband, David, of Independence, Missouri Daughter – Brenda Prochaska and her husband, Bill, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota Daughter – Patricia Sexton and her husband, Lonnie, of Ottawa, Kansas Brother – John S. Sellers and his wife, Pat, of Spring Hill, Kansas Grandchildren – Twelve Great-Grandchildren – Twenty-two She is preceded in death by her: Parents – Narva and Emma Sellers Sister – Eleanor Barlow Sister – Shirley J. Bowling Brother – Gerald A. Sellers SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. IN STATE: Mrs. Mille will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, where a Rosary will be said at 6:30 Tuesday evening, followed by family and friends visitation at 7:00.
