Buddy "Bud" Charles Schaub

Buddy Charles “Bud” Schaub, age 73, of Princeton, Kansas, died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at his home, on the same farm where he was born on Monday, October 4, 1937 in Princeton, KS, the son of Roy Eugene and Anice Ruth (Foushee) Schaub. He was a lifelong resident of Princeton. Bud graduated from Princeton High School with the class of 1955. Bud was a lifetime farmer and stockman. He worked forty-three years as the treasurer for the Central Heights School District, retiring December 3, 2010. In honor of his time with the Central Heights School District the sports complex will be renamed the Bud Schaub Sports Complex. He hauled water to the rural residents of Franklin County in the 1960’s and 1970’s, and numerous other jobs. He was a member of Princeton Methodist Church; National Rifle Association; Kansas Trap Shooters Association; International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association; East Central KS, Trike Club; a board member of Franklin County Rural Water District #3. Bud enjoyed attending sporting events, shooting guns, riding motorcycles and trikes, fishing, and raising his cattle. On December 12, 1956, Bud was united in marriage with Marilyn Pearl Beeson at Princeton Methodist Church. She survives of their home. He is survived by his: Wife-Marilyn Schaub of Princeton, KS; Son-Rodney Schaub and his wife Diana, of Princeton, KS; Daughter- Ronda Anderson and her husband Larry, of Brookfield, MO; Granddaughter-Amanda Schaub; Grandson-Ryan Schaub; Grandson-Mathew Anderson and many friends. He was preceded in death by: Parents-Roy Eugene and Anice Ruth Schaub and his Brother-Billy Schaub. Services: Mr. Schaub has been cremated. A private family graveside inurnment service was held at Princeton Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010.
