Funeral Services for Bryce S. Schendel, age 25 years, Jace D. Best, age six years, Ayden L. Best, age five years, and Zoey S. Schendel, age four months, of Richmond, Kansas, who died Monday, April 25, 2011, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011, at Ottawa University Chapel, 1001 S. Cedar, in Ottawa, with burial at Richmond Cemetery in Richmond, Kansas. Family will meet with friends from 3:00 to 5:00 Sunday afternoon at Ottawa University Chapel. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067. _________________________________ Bryce Sterling Schendel Obituary: Bryce Sterling Schendel, age 25, of Richmond, Kansas, died Monday, April 25, 2011. He was born on Thursday, August 15, 1985, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, the son of Jay M. Schendel and Brenda S. Weller. He was a resident of Richmond eleven years and Williamsburg two years. Bryce graduated from Williamsburg High School with the class of 2003. He was employed as a Staining Supervisor at Kid’s Creations Industry of Garnett, Kansas, for the last two years. He also worked a lot on the family farms. On July 25, 2009, Bryce was united in marriage with Ashley Kirkland in Melvern, Kansas. She survives of their home. Bryce is survived by his: Father-Jay M. Schendel and his wife, Terri, of Wellsville, Kansas; Mother-Brenda S. Weller of Ottawa; Wife-Ashley Schendel of the home; Stepdaughter-Alexis Best of the home; Sister-Alissa S. She was born on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, in Olathe, Kansas. She was the daughter of Bryce Sterling and Ashley Loree (Kirkland) Schendel. Zoey was always smiling, and thought it was so much fun chewing on her toes and sleeping on daddy. She is now resting-in- peace in her daddy's loving arms.
