Bryan And Stacy Holland

Bryan Thomas Holland, 49, and Stacy Lynn Holland, 48, of Ottawa, Kansas, died unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Celebration of life services will be held later. Bryan was born August 21, 1970, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Thomas and Pamela (Minteer) Holland. Stacy Lynn (Roberts) Holland was born July 23, 1971, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Jerry and Joy (Hobbs) Roberts. They both grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, moving in 2002 to Ottawa. Bryan graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kansas, with the class of 1988. He continued his education at Kansas City Kansas Community College, graduating in 1992, with an Associate of Arts in Auto Mechanics. Bryan also had multiple certifications in auto mechanics. Stacy graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, Kansas, with the class of 1989. She continued her education at Pinnacle Career Institute, graduating in 2012, as a Certified Medical Assistant. They were united in marriage on February 27, 1993, in Kansas City, Kansas, and happily married for 27 years. Bryan was employed with the City of Olathe, since 2002, as a heavy machinery mechanic. He was an avid reader, enjoyed tinkering with cars, and was very much the handyman around the house. He enjoyed listening to music, playing the keyboard, and slow pitch softball. Stacy was employed at Leawood Family Care as a medical assistant from November 30, 2015 to present. She enjoyed working together with Bryan in their flower and vegetable garden, drinking coffee on the front porch and camping. Stacy liked knitting, cooking for the family and flower arranging. Above all, spending time with the children and family were the most important times for Stacy and Bryan. Stacy was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry & Joy Roberts and sister, Jennifer Anne Howard. Survivors include four children, Victoria Holland of Lawrence, Miranda Holland of Ottawa, Ethan Holland also of Ottawa, and Madeline (Kay) Holland of Lawrence; and nieces and nephews, Raechel Miller, Katelyn Aber, Tyler Aber, and Jacob Aber all of Ottawa. Bryan’s parents, Thomas and Pamela Holland of Ottawa and sister, Melissa (Matthew) Aber of Ottawa. And Stacy’s sister, Kelly (Brian) Miller of Ottawa.
