Brian Hladky

Brian R. Hladky, age 47, of Olathe, KS passed away on October 22, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday October 27, 2012 at the City of Paola Cemetery, 909 W. Miami St., Paola, KS. At 11:00 a.m. the Memorial Service will take place at St. Mark"s United Methodist Church, 6422 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS, with a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Kansas City Hospice House. He lived much of his life in Northeast Kansas, and was employed by Advance Auto Parts. Brian is preceded in death by his sister, Shannon Hladky Owens. Survivors include his mother Rebecca Bond Hladky of Overland Park, his father Harold Hladky (Gail) of Battle Creek, MI, sister Heather Hladky Robinson (Dan) of Olathe, brother Shawn Hladky of Denver, CO, step brother Mark Fitch (Stephanie) of Rolla, MO, aunt Katherine Bond Altaras (David) of Dallas, TX, grandfather Kenneth Bond of Paola, KS, grandparents Loren and Elsie Hladky of Topeka, KS, niece Kayla Owens, nephew Kyle Robinson, and niece Ashlee Robinson. Other survivors in the Paola/Miami County area include great uncle Philip Stewart (Mary Ann), cousin Irene Stewart Carter (Jack), and cousin Ed Stewart (Kelly).
