Bradley Mason

Bradley Eugene Mason was born on Monday, November 28, 1960, in Ottawa, Kansas. He was the son of Robert Eugene and Delma Louise (Yohe) Mason. Except for three years when he was a child, living in Germany during his father's military career, Brad made his home in Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas, until his death on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at the age of forty-five years. Brad graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1979. He worked at a variety of jobs, including driving a truck, hauling water, known as Mason Trucking. Later, he was a printing operator at Packer Plastics in Lawrence, Kansas. A very caring person, spending time with his family was of greatest importance to Brad. He also enjoyed the outdoors and camping. Another favorite pastime was bowling with his many friends. In December of 1982, Brad was united in marriage with Diane M. Wheeler in Lawrence, Kansas. They were later divorced. Brad is survived by his daughter, Summer Sky Mason, of Waterloo, Iowa; father, Robert Mason, and his companion, Judy Romary, of Burlington, Kansas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delma Louise Mason; and uncle, Charlie Mason. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2006. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Mason from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at Dengel & Son Mortuary to the service hour , where the family will meet with friends from 2:00 to 3:00 Sunday afternoon.
