Billy L. Leonard

Billy L. Leonard, age 70, of Richmond, Kansas, died Sunday, November 16, 2003, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. He has lived in Richmond the past four years, moving from Garnett, where he had lived for twenty years. He had also lived in Williamsburg twenty-five to thirty years, moving from Kansas City. Billy attended Sweet Springs (Missouri) Schools. He worked in construction for several years. He was the son of the late Cecil Leonard and the late Edna (Briggs) Leonard. He is also survived by his five sisters: Betty McConnell of Richmond, Kansas, Barbara White of Waverly, Kansas,Patricia Carr of Tehachapi, California, Peggy Leonard, Rita May of Kansas City, Missouri. and five brothers:Dale Leonard of Missouri,Richard Hodge of Kansas City, Missouri,Cecil Leonard of Wellsville, Kansas, Robert Leonard of Utah, James Leonard of California. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2003. IN STATE: Mr. Leonard will lie in state at Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday to the service hour. CEMETERY: Richmond Cemetery, Richmond, Kansas.
