Beverly Joyce Ingram, age 79, of rural Paola, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, at Life Care Center, Osawatomie, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by rosary at 10:00 a.m., and then the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. all at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Paola, Kansas. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Green Lawn Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. Beverly was born Monday, October 23, 1939, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Richard Daniel Carey and Hilda Mae Evans. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Bishop Lillis Catholic School. She attended Johnson County Community College where she earned her Associates Degree and obtained a certificate for paralegal. Her honor society membership was with Phi Theta Kappa. Beverly was united in marriage to Gerald "Jerry" Lee Ingram April 3, 1959, at Selfridge Air Force Base, MI. With Jerry being in the military, they made many moves including Long Island, New York, Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Richards Gebauer Air Force Base near Belton, MO, Cape Giradeau, MO, and Miami, Florida before making their home at rural Paola, Kansas. She worked at the Johnson County Court House as a court trustee/paralegal for 25 years. Beverly enjoyed bowling and flower gardening. With her membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution, she contributed to the crocheting project of making helmet liners for the troops. Her favorite pastime was the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Jerry of the home; daughter Sheila Doherty and her husband Doug of Paola; son Michael of the home; three brothers William Carey of Kansas City, MO, Robert Harvey of Raytown, MO, and Thomas Groff of Grain Valley, MO; her half brother Travis Carey of Georgia; four grandchildren Hillary Goodwin, Jacob Ingram, Scott Ingram, and Alexsis Ingram; one great grandson Joseph Scott Ingram; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Steven Michael Carey.
