Beulah Marie Smith, age 74, of Williamsburg, Kansas, died Monday, August 27, 2012, at her home. She was born on Sunday, February 27, 1938, in Wathena, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence Calvin and Opal Marie (Moss) Engeman. Beulah lived in Williamsburg since 1990, moving there from Lebo, Kansas where she lived for 27 years. Beulah was a lifelong homemaker. She worked as a cook at BETO Junction in the late 1970’s and as a Nurses Aid in the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. A former member of the Lebo First Baptist Church, Beulah was currently attending Ottawa Community Church. On September 25, 1956, Beulah was united in marriage to Billie G. Smith, Sr., at Wathena, Kansas. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2002. She is survived by her: Son – Bill Smith, Jr., and wife Catheryn of Centropolis, Kansas Daughter – Mary Jones and husband Robert of Ottawa, Kansas Daughter – Laura Smith of Burlingame, Kansas Daughter – Donna Hollon and husband Steven of Williamsburg, Kansas Daughter – Judy White and companion Kathryn of Olathe, Kansas Grandson – Troy Smith and wife Kami Granddaughter – Connie Padgett and husband Matt Granddaughter – Michelle Cunningham and husband Nate Granddaughter - Edna Brown and husband Tim Granddaughter – Ashley DeCock and husband Erik Grandson – Matthew Smith and wife Jamee Grandson – Christopher Brown Grandson – Gavin Smith Great-grandchildren – 10 She is preceded in death by her: Husband – Billie G. Smith, Sr. Son – Lonnie Smith Grandson – Michael Dean Brown Sister – Shirley Fequa Sister – Peggy Gnegy Sister – June Mills SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary, 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 30, 2012. IN STATE: Friends may pay respects to Mrs. Smith at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 to the service hour where the family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. CEMETERY: Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Franklin County, Kansas MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Luke’s Hospice c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
