Betty Cevoli, 72, of Wellsville, Kansas died on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Village Manor Nursing Home in Ottawa, Kansas. She was born on Thursday, February 27, 1936, in Harris, Kansas. She was the daughter of Leonard and Dema (Matthew) Matteson. She has been a resident of Wellsville, Kansas since 1977, moving from Lake Worth, Florida, where she had resided for twenty-four years. Betty attended Westphalia High School, later earning her G.E.D. and attending Johnson County Community College. She was a homemaker. She also sold real estate and insurance, and was a nurse`s aide. Betty was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Writer`s Club, and Sewing Club, all of Ottawa. On September 7, 1957, Betty was united in marriage with Carlo R. Cevoli in Lake Worth, Florida. He survives of their home. Survivors include: Husband-Carlo R. Cevoli of the home Daughter & son-in-law-Teresa & Michael Hanley of Midlothian, Va. Son & daughter-in-law-Tony & Chris Cevoli of Olathe, Kan. Son-Mike Cevoli of Ottawa, Kan. Daughter & son-in-law-Sue & Jamie Olson of Olathe, Kan. Sister & brother-in-law-Donna & Maurice Wiederholt of Ottawa, Kan. Sister & brother-in-law-Beulah & Tom Graham of Boxholm, IA Five - Grandchildren She was preceded in death by: Father-Leonard Matteson Mother-Dema (Matthew) Matteson Infant Children-Four Brother-Kenneth Matteson SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ottawa. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Cevoli at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday to the service hour, where a Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m Tuesday followed by family visitation from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
