Betty Lou Oberheide

Betty Lou Oberheide, 85, of Paola, KS, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the North Point Nursing Home, Paola, KS. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Art & Emma Fort and nine siblings. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Damon of 66 years; two sons Michael (Linda) of Osawatomie and Phillip (Juanita) of Paola; daughter Debbie of Osawatomie; grandchildren Elizabeth, Sara (Mike), Brian, Matthew, Joseph (Kristen), Joshua (Ashlei), Jessie, and Jenny; eight great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty worked at the Smith Garment factory as well as the USD 368 Food Service Department for many years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends who will miss her dearly.
