Betty Lou Favreau, 81, of Waverly, Kansas, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at Morningstar Care Homes of Baldwin. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 28, 2022, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Inurnment Pleasant View Cemetery, Agricola. Betty was born February 7, 1941, at Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Edith (Martin) Baum. She grew up in California, moving to Mount Hope, Kansas where she lived 30 years. In 2002, Betty moved to Waverly where she lived 20 years. On June 7, 1969, Betty was united in marriage to John G. Favreau in Derby, Kansas. They were happily married 53 years. Betty was a devoted lifelong homemaker raising 3 children and taking care of her home. She enjoyed having a flower garden and in her younger years enjoyed travel, camping and riding motorcycles. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Wanita. Survivors include her husband John Favreau of the home; three children, Edward Mutchler of Wichita, Kansas, Darrin Mutchler also of Wichita, and Trisha Favreau of Waverly; five grandchildren, Tara Mutchler, Naomi Nevins, Eddie Mutchler, Darrin Mutchler, Jr., and Jessica Siebenaler; and six great grandchildren.
