Betty Jane Bowman

She was a lifelong Franklin County, Kansas resident. Betty graduated from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1942. She was a lifelong homemaker. She also worked for Parmalee Products and Platner Manufacturing, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Appanoose Baptist Church; Parish Council; Pomona Birthday Club; Pomona Craft Club; and completed a four-year Menninger Bible Class at Ottawa. On August 30, 1942, Betty was united in marriage with Kenneth Rhoadell Bowman at Pomona, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1986. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2005. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Bob Miller. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Bowman at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Tuesday evening.
