Betty Horn

Betty M. Horn age 82 of Paola passed away Thursday the 10th of June at the North Point Care Center.(Cremation) No services are planned. Betty was born on Sept. 25, 1927 in Paola, to John and Goldie Crouch Williams. She attended the Paola Schools and was a lifelong resident of the community. Betty was united in marriage in 1950 in Paola to Louis Horn. During the war she worked at the Hercules Plant in Desoto, then she worked with her mother at the Corner Caf" on the park square, later worked at Franks Tavern, before working for the 7up Bottling Company in North Kansas City for over 18 years as an inspector. Betty enjoyed collecting home interior products, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Evelyn Dawson and Ruth Jennings. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Survivors are her son John and wife Patty Hyatt of Osawatomie Kansas, and a Niece that was raised as a daughter Linda Yates of Paola, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson, and many nieces and nephews
