Betty Bennett

Betty Jean Bennett, 66 of Fair Grove, MO, passed away December 28, 2013 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Betty was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 10, 1947 to the late William and Mildred Ray Chamberlain. Betty graduated from Osawatomie High School. She married her husband, who preceded her in death, John "Bill" Bennett on September 17, 1965. Betty loved to ride motorcycles with Bill and spent many family vacations hauling three children on the cycles. She also loved camping and being outside at the lake with family and friends. She was also an amazing cook and always made enough to feed an army! Betty is survived by three children Rose "Missy" Floyd and Dallas of Fair Grove, MO, David Bennett and Janet of Spring Hill, KS, and Shannon Carlson and Donald of Michigan Valley, KS. She is survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and also by sisters Annie and Carole and brother Jimmy.
