Annie Emma (Hall) Hall, age 87, of Ottawa, Kan., died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Via Christi St. Josephs Hospital in Wichita, Kan. She was born on January 26, 1917 at Exmouth, Devonshire, England. She was the daughter of the late William Hall and the late Annie (Edwards) Hall. She is also survived by her One Daughter, Daughter-Janet E.D. Doi of Maryland Heights, Mo. One Son, Son-Christopher Michael William Hall of Mulvane, Kan. She lived in the Wellsville area from 1949 to 1963 moving to Ottawa in 1963. She moved to Mulvane in fall of 2003. Annie received her education privately in England with a private tutor to college level. She attended Neosho Junior College, where she studied music, voice, piano, and choir. She was a lifelong homemaker. She also worked as a nurses aide and taught piano from the 1950's to 1980's. During World War II, she was an airplane plotter with the Civil Defense connected with the Royal Air Force. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Ottawa and the Derby-Ward area, and Rebekah Lodge in Wellsville. She sang in the choir in the Exeter Cathedral in England. MARRIAGE: On April 10, 1944, Annie was united in marriage with Ernest Hall in England. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1997. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Ottawa, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Bishop William Hull. IN STATE: Mrs. Hall will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday to the service hour. CEMETERY: Wellsville Cemetery, Wellsville, Kansas.
