Anna C. Loch age 99 passed away Dec. 24th at the Villages of Jackson Creek , Independence Missouri. Services will be Tues Dec. 29th, 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Louisburg, Kansas. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 AM Tuesday at Immaculate Conception, with a Rosary at 10:30AM. Burial will be in the Louisburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or The Bishop Sullivan Center. Anna was born Aug. 20, 1910 in Louisburg, Kansas to Frank and Theresa Windisch Leitner. She was one of 6 children. She graduated from Louisburg High School in 1929 and received her teaching certificate from Kansas State Teachers College in Pittsburg that same year. Anna taught in the rural one room Schoolhouse"s of Miami County for 10 years she also drove a school bus and worked as a clerk at the Louisburg Western Auto Store for 10 years. On April 12, 1939 she was united in marriage to Damon Loch in Louisburg, Kansas. She was a teacher, homemaker and mother of two. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing, playing cards, playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five sisters, Theresa Knecht, Clara Funk, Bertha Worthington, Marie Kircher, and Rose Landon. Survivors are her daughter Jane and husband Jim McQueen of Independence, Mo., and son Gerald Loch of Minoka Illinois, 6 grandchildren: John and Jeff Loch, Jenny Elliott, Michael, Christopher and Patrick McQueen. and 8 great grandchildren.
