Amos Nathaniel Blodgett

March 3, 1975 — December 29, 2004

Amos Nathaniel Blodgett was born March 3, 1975, in Springfield, Vermont. He was the son of Robert W. and Carol A. (Godin) Blodgett. Amos spent much of his early life in New England and then moved to Storm Lake, Iowa in 1990. He graduated from Storm Lake High School with the class of 1993. He then returned to New Hampshire, where he began his management career at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Raymond, New Hampshire. He then transferred to the company's distribution center in Ottawa, Kansas. On May 31, 2003, Amos was united in marriage with Toni Manna at Manchester, New Hampshire. She survives of their home. Amos and Toni met while working for the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Raymond, New Hampshire. Amos was a young man who loved and enjoyed so many things throughout his life. He was deeply devoted to his wife, Toni, family and many friends, whom he also thought of as family. Growing up, he was a best friend to his sisters, appreciated his dad's parental guidance, always wanted to please people, and was his Mom's 'coffee buddy'. Amos touched many people with his humor and natural musical talents and was, in fact, a self-taught pianist. He enjoyed playing with his two miniature dachshunds, Andrew and Koda, watching movies, and woodworking. His favorite pastime was Geocaching, Global Positioning System Treasure Hunting. Toni is so thankful for the time they had together and has many wonderful memories. His last few days were very happy and fulfilling, spent with his family over the holidays. Amos will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents of Storm Lake, Iowa; two sisters, Julie Perryman of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, Heather Harmes of Storm Lake, Iowa; grandmother, Joyce Godin of Perkinsville, Vermont; uncle, David A. Blodgett and his family of Castleton, Vermont; aunt, Paulette Brochu of Hillsboro, New Hampshire; nephew, Nathaniel Harmes of Storm Lake, Iowa; and niece, Alexis Perryman of Sedro-Woolley, Washington.
