Alice Pointer

Alice Marie Pointer age 84, of Lees Summit, Missouri passed away February 12, 2015 at Monterey Park Nursing Home, Independence, Missouri. Alice was born July 10, 1930, in Missouri, the daughter of Alfred and Evelyn (Cravens) Ziegler. Alice graduated from Louisburg High School. She was united in marriage November of 1947 to Max Pointer, Sr. They made their home in Raytown and became the parents of two children. Alice enjoyed gardening, reading romance novels, dining out, and word search puzzles. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Max Pointer, Sr., her father Alfred Ziegler, mother Evelyn Ziegler, brother Elmer Ziegler, and sister Emma Mae Rice. Survivors include her two sons Max Pointer, Jr., (Virginia) of Lone Jack, Missouri, Gary L. Pointer, Sr. (Debby) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; four grandchildren Laura McKinney (Todd), Michael Pointer (Julie), Gary Pointer, Jr., and Matthew Pointer (January); and seven great grandchildren Allie Rose, Joshua, Kathleen, Connie, Madison, Hannah, and Emma.
