Alice Carrie Franks

Alice was a lifelong resident of Ottawa until moving to Quenemo in 1984. She attended schools in Ottawa. She worked for H.D. Lee from 1963 to 1979; Plattner Industries, 1979 to 1986; and Parmalee, 1986 to 1989, retiring in February of 1989. She was very active in the Quenemo community and enjoyed her volunteer work for EKAN of Osage County and the Food Bank . Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Franks at Dengel & Son Mortuary after 5:00 p.m. Sunday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 8:00 Monday evening. Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials be made to American Heart Association, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
