Albert Dean Huggard

Albert Dean “Al” Huggard, age 69, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at his home. He was born on Wednesday, March 13, 1940, in High Point, North Carolina. He was the son of Dillon Bronson Huggard and Retta (Trentham) Huggard-Allen. He was a longtime resident of Ottawa. Al graduated from Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois, with the class of 1958, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. Al worked as manager of Management Information Systems for Ottawa Truck Division of Kalmar Industries, retiring June 9, 2000. Al served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his: Son-Randy Huggard and his wife, Heather, of Ottawa, Kansas Son-Tony Huggard and his wife, Jennifer, of Weatherford, Texas Daughter-Wendy Gray of Nebraska Son-Bob Huggard and his wife, Krystal, of Dennis, Kansas Twelve-Grandchildren, One-Gt.Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dillon Bronson Huggard and Retta (Trentham) Huggard-Allen. SERVICES: Cremation is planned. Private family services will be held at a later date.
