She lived in Garnett prior to moving to Princeton in 1942, where she lived at the same location until moving to Wichita three years ago. Ada graduated from Garnett High School with the class of 1932. She was employed as a seamstress for H.D. Lee in Ottawa from April of 1955 to January of 1976. She was a member of Princeton Christian Church and fifty-year member of Family Homemakers Extension Unit. On February 14, 1971, Ada was united in marriage with Harry Shaffer at Emporia, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1990. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2004. OFFICIATING CLERGY:Pastor Duane Pedrow. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Shaffer at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Casket will remain closed. CEMETERY: Garnett Cemetery, Garnett, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Princeton Christian Church, Aldersgate United Methodist Endowment Fund, or Catholic Care Center, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
