Yvonne Elizabeth Hoover

She grew up in Ottawa, moving to Kansas City, Missouri, after her marriage. She lived in Kansas City for thirty years and Edwardsville for twenty years. She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1929. She attended Ottawa University. Yvonne was employed ten years as a bookkeeper at Macy`s Department Store in Kansas City, Missouri, retiring in 1976. In 1942, Yvonne was united in marriage with Harold Hoover at Ottawa, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1965. SERVICES: Family and friends will meet for graveside services at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2005. OFFICIANT: Pastor Nathan Rogers. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Hoover at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, from noon to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas.
