Willie Wilburn Wilhite II, U.S. Navy retired chief petty officer of Corpus Christi, TX passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside memorial service with military honors at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Kansas, 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 14, 2013. Willie was born on December 6, 1950 in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Willie W. Wilhite and Beulah Rose Nelson. He is survived by three daughters, Lori Gayle Breland and husband Carlos Maldonado III of Corpus Christi, TX, Danelle Hargraves and husband Zachariah of Cedar Park, TX, and Andrea Wilhite of Austin, TX; two grandchildren, Nickolas Andrew and Abigail Rose; three sister’s, Patricia Wells, Sandra Kay Teter, and Melody Harder; brother, Robert Wilhite; and several nieces and nephews.
