Thomas Ancrum Scott, 82, of Richmond, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at Richmond Healthcare & Rehabilitation. A graveside inurnment service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Highland Cemetery with military honors by the United States Navy and the American Legion Riders. Thomas was born Tuesday, April 6, 1937 in Washington, D.C., the son of Walter and Anna (Eve) Scott. Thomas earned his General Educational Degree at U.S.A.F.I. in Madison, Wisconsin on March 8, 1956. He graduated from N.Y.C. Community College in Brooklyn, N.Y. with a degree in electrical technology in 1962. Thomas served in the United States Navy from June 29, 1954 until July 15, 1966, attaining the rank of E-4 and earning the National Defense Service Medal. His last duty assignment was at the Naval Communication Station in Iceland. He was employed with King Radio as a radio technician.
