Roy Frank Brown

Roy Frank Brown, 62, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away at Rock Creek of Ottawa, on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

An inurnment will be held at Highland Cemetery on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.

Roy was born on Wednesday, December 21, 1960, the son of Frank and Wilma (Oakes) Brown in Ottawa, Kansas.

He graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1979.

Roy loved animals and enjoyed his time with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Wilma; paternal grandparents Frank and Elma Brown; and maternal grandparents John and Vilena Oaks.

Survivors include his sister Audrey Brungard and sister-in-law Jo Doerneman of Newton, Kansas; cousins Debbie Strawder, Linda Meier, and Gary Daniel of Ottawa, Kansas; uncles Glenn Daniel and Joe Oaks of Ottawa, Kansas, nephews Jared (Nettie) Brungardt of Wichita, Kansas and Aaron (Mikala) Brungardt of Wichita, Kansas; great nephews and nieces Landon, Brielle, Ruhiyyih, Samira, and Leon.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Parkinson's Foundation c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
