Ralph B. Campbell, 79, Louisburg, Kansas, Passed away Saturday June 14, 2008 at his home surrounded by friends and family. Graveside service with military honors will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Louisburg Cemetery. Ralph was born April 3, 1929 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He retired from Reno Construction Company after working for them for 30 years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was awarded several medals but he was most proud of his combat infantry badge. He loved camping, woodworking, restoring clocks, selling cars and working on model airplanes. He was a professional musician and a published poem writer. Some say that Ralph was very opinionated, but he was truly loved by his friends and family. Survivors include many nieces and nephews, his former wife Betty and his faithful companion "Shadow". Memorial contributions to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
