Priscilla L. Weatherbee, 75, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Olathe Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 12, 2015, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Family will meet with friends at 9:30 A.M., prior to the funeral service. Graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Monday, October 12, 2015, at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, Kansas. Priscilla was born Saturday, April 6, 1940, in Eureka, Kansas, the daughter of Waymond and Helen (Purkeypile) Buffington. She grew up in Eureka, moving in 1970 to Ottawa. Priscilla was united in marriage with Amos Weatherbee June 12, 1965, in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death December 26, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Waymond and Helen Buffington; and sister, Patsy Sanders. Survivors include her five children, Kim Crain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tony Weatherbee and wife Sherl of Wichita, Ruth Smith and husband Mark of Topeka, John Weatherbee of Westphalia, and Darin Weatherbee and wife Sondra of Ottawa; four siblings, Peg Spain and husband Bill of Ottawa, Paul Buffington and wife Kay of Medford, Oklahoma, Phil Buffington of Eureka, and Phyllis Howard of Burlison, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren, Alyse Smith, Jordan Smith, Cody Crain, Reba Weatherbee, Quinton Weatherbee, Micaleb Weatherbee, Roscoe Weatherbee, Brooklynn Williams, Staycey Zogelmann, Casey Chapman, Cameron Chapman, Aundrea Chapman, and Chase Corbin; and three great-grandchildren, Daylen Weatherbee, Rage Beck and Addelyn Zogelmann. Priscilla was self-employed, cleaning homes in Ottawa for the last forty years. Priscilla was deeply devoted to her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, mystery novels, Christmas decorating, and having garage sales. The family suggests memorial contributions to Franklin County Cancer Foundation c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
