Patricia Kramer

Patricia Ann 'Pat' Kramer was born March 4, 1938, at Buffalo, New York. She was the daughter of Halfred and Helen (Kelley) McCune. A lifelong Franklin County, Kansas resident, she made her home in Ottawa, until her death Saturday, July 12, 2003, at the age of sixty-five years. Pat attended Ottawa High School with the class of 1956, later receiving her General Equivalency Diploma. She was a lifelong homemaker. Since 1985, she and her husband were part owners and managers of Plaschka-Kramer Liquor Store in Princeton. She was a member of First Christian Church in Ottawa. Pat was an outgoing person who never met a stranger, a friend everyone would like to have as their neighbor. She loved spending time with her family and was always talking about her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling and shopping. On August 1, 1954, Pat was united in marriage with Homer Kramer at Ottawa. He survives of their home. She is also survived by her son, Keith Kramer and his wife, Diane, of Columbia, Maryland; two daughters, Cindy Bones and her husband, David, of Ottawa, Kelley Thompson and her husband, Jay, of Wetumpka, Alabama; stepsister, Carolyn Blake of Ottawa; sister-in-law, Joann Whitten of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Halfred McCune; mother, Helen (Kelley) Wenthe; stepfather, William Wenthe; and brother, James Whitten. SERVICES: Mrs. Kramer has been cremated. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Dengel & Son Mortuary.
