Onetta Mae King 79 of Osawatomie passed away Sat. June 20th at the Overland Park Regional Hospital. Graveside Services Wed. Onetta was born Dec. 28, 1929 in Kansas City MO., to Onnie and Ethel Hume Blackwell. She was raised and attended Somerset School in the Somerset Community. She was united in marriage to Henry King on Jan. 18 1947 in Columbia, MO. They made their home in Osawatomie to raise their six children. Onetta was a homemaker and waitress at the Mills Caf", Wallace House and Tastee Frezze. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, very much, they were her pride and joy. Her favorite past time was playing bingo with family and friends. Onetta is proceeded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers, Jack, Gene, George, and Bill Blackwell and a sister Thelma Blackwell. Survivors are her children, sons, William and wife Cathy King of SpringHill, Jackie and wife Jane King of Lees Summit, MO., dau, Kay and husband Larry Ross of Mound City, KS., dau., Radie and husband Johnny Spratt of Lane, KS., dau., Rexann and husband Bill Chester of Lane, KS., and dau., Tammy Mitchell of Lane, KS., 16 grandchildren, and 23 great grand children.
