Nora L. Pfannes

Nora L. Pfannes, age 90, of South Kansas City, Mo., passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 after a lengthy battle with cancer at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo. She was born November 21, 1918 at Stilwell, Ks. the daughter of Harry Lee and Pearl Groh Burgess. She was united in marriage on April 8, 1942 to Albert J. Pfannes at Wea, Ks. Nora was a homemaker who particularly enjoyed flower gardening. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Wea, Ks. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Nora leaves many nieces, nephews, family & friends who will greatly miss her. Graveside service will be held on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.at Holy Rosary Cemetery Bucyrus, Ks. Visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The family suggests contributions to the church or donors choice.
