Monty L. Isham

Monty L. Isham, age 64, passed away January 1, 2013 at Life Care Center of Osawatomie, Kansas. Monty was born on September 17, 1948 in Paola, Kansas to Nelce and Norma Jean Koelsch Isham. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1967. As a youth Monty worked for Danny Wilson at the Paola Pool, as a lifeguard and helper. He then attended Hayes Hair Dressing School in 1969. He was employed for a few years with Hayes Beauty Salon in Corinth Square. Monty also worked for a time with the family trucking business Best Truck Lines out of Ottawa. Monty worked for the railroad in Osawatomie for a few years before his failing health forced him to retire. He is survived by his mother Norma Jean Isham of Paola, aunt Patricia Trapp of Kansas City, Kansas and many cousins. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
