Monda L. Hough, 82, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Richmond Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Cremation is planned. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 7, 2014, at Highland Cemetery. Monda was born Tuesday, November 24, 1931, in Wild Cherry, Arkansas, the daughter of William “Jake” and Dora (Lane) Wyatt. She lived in Wichita, Kansas from 1950 to 1953, before moving to Ottawa. She attended Viola Grade School in Viola, Arkansas, through the 8th grade, later earning her GED. Monda was united in marriage to Donald Wayne Hough April 6, 1950, in Viola, Arkansas. He survives of the home. Survivors also include her three children, Debby Terry and husband Michael, Durwin Hough and wife Debbie, and Daphney Crawshaw and husband Douglas; siblings, Cleo Wyatt and wife Hazel, and Vaden Wyatt and wife Becky; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant daughter, Leticia Hough. Monda was a devoted lifelong homemaker always caring for the needs of her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts, shuffleboard, cards, and camping at Carner’s Park outside of Ottawa.
