Milinda Dorean Eastman, 53, of Paola, passed away on September 27, 2024, at her home after fearlessly battling pulmonary fibrosis. A visitation will be held on October 4, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. both being held at the Dengel & Son Mortuary-Paola Chapel.
She was born on July 6, 1971, to John and Linda (Dillion) Heller in Omaha, NE.
Milinda worked at the United States Postal Service for several years, as well as many restaurants. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking and baking pies for all those she loved.
On July 26, 2014, she married Phillip Eastman. Milinda and Phillip lived in Paola, Kansas.
Milinda loved all those she knew and all things she did. She loved her fur babies immensely. Milinda enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, camping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved a good joke, all the pranks she could get away with, and her laugh was so contagious.
Milinda is survived by her husband, Phillip Eastman. Daughter, Amber Stephens (Paul Hartley), son, Jared Stephens (Savannah Ravnik-Erickson), daughter, Jeri Lynn Ballou (Christopher Ballou). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Eric, Zachary, Bentley, Kole (Aspen), Baileyann, Avalyn, Anderson, Aldon, Braden, Christopher, and Austin. As well as her great-grandchildren; Luke and August.
She was preceded in death by her Father, John Heller, Mother, Linda Heller, Brother, Gary Heller, and Jerry Graham.
