Michael Vervynck

Michael H. Vervynck, age 70, of Pleasanton, KS passed away March 3, 2014 at Olathe Medical Center. Mike was born August 26, 1943 at Kansas City, MO the son of Henry C. and Agnes Clara (Kelly) Vervynck. He was a United States Army National Guard Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He graduated from Rockhurst University in 1965. He was a member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bucyrus, KS and served on the Holy Rosary Cemetery Board for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, Brian Vervynck, Overland Park, KS; one sister, Dorothy Jean Fiete (James), ST. Louis, MO and three grandchildren, Jillian, Joseph and Allison. The family suggests contributions to Holy Rosary Cemetery.
