Michael Edward Rice

Michael Edward Rice, son of Clarence Edward and Gabrielle N. (Earnest) Rice, of Greeley, Kansas, was stillborn on Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, Kansas. He is survived by his parents, Clarence and Gabrielle; maternal grandparents, Vicky Brownback and her husband, Jim, of Parker, Kansas, Terry Zornes and his wife, Kathy, of Kincaid, Kansas; paternal grandmother, Hazel Rice of Ottawa, Kansas; maternal great-grandfather, Keith Doughty of Moran, Kansas; paternal great-grandmother, Myrtle Whirley of Ottawa, Kansas; and several aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clarence Edward Rice, Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Doughty; and paternal great-grandfather, Robert “Bob” Whirley. Family will meet with friends from 6:00 to 7:00 Saturday evening, August 21, 2010, at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Cremation is planned. The family suggests memorial contributions to Michael Edward Rice Memorial Fund, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
