Maxine Judy Magers

Maxine Judy Magers, age 65, of Paola, passed away Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at the North Point Care Center. Funeral Service will be Friday August 7th, at 2:00PM, visitation, 1:00 - 2:00PM, at Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, burial Osawatomie Cemetery, Osawatomie, Kansas. She was raised in Parker and Osawatomie, and graduated from Osawatomie High School. On Nov. 1, 1963, she was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Magers, in Osawatomie, Kansas, and after 27 years, divorced. Judy, worked as a candy striper, at the Osawatomie State Hospital, as a youth and as an adult she worked as health care provider. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her son Jimmy Magers, of Louisburg, Kansas, daughter, Jody Krogsdale of Louisburg, Kansas, and 6 grandchildren, Bridget Marie Magers, Sandra Kay Magers, Jamee Schaunte Krogsdale, Kali Marie Krogsdale, Katelyn LeMae Krogsdale, and Brandi Rose Krogsdale.
