Mary Eileen Marez

Mary Marez, age 72, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Friday, March 15, 2013. She was born on May 31, 1940, in Nortonville, Kansas, the daughter of Wilbur and Catherine (Hartman) Aspinwall. Mary has lived in Ottawa for fifty-four years moving from Nortonville. She attended high school in Nortonville. On March 19, 1971 Mary was united in marriage to Robert R. Marez in Ottawa, Kansas. He survives of the home. Mary worked for H. D. Lee Company in shipping in the 1960’s; L & L Café as a waitress in the 1970’s; May-Ransom-Sheets Highway Construction as a construction worker for fourteen years in the 1970’s; and Lawrence Asphalt in the 1980’s. She was a member of the Laborers Local Union #1290 in Kansas City, Kansas and the Laborers Local Union #442 in Topeka, Kansas. SERVICES: No services are planned.
