Martha B. Miller, 82, of Ottawa, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Rock Creek of Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. Memorial graveside services will be held later at Highland Cemetery. Martha was born December 6, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Fred and Lettie (Hoopes) Yount. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident graduating in 1955 from Ursuline Academy in Paola, Kansas. On December 6, 1957 Martha was united in marriage to Glen Miller. They had four children from their union of nearly 24 years. Martha was employed for Walmart in Ottawa as a door greeter for 26 years, retiring in 2009. She was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church singing in the choir and United Methodist Women. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 20 years. Martha loved her family, friends and going out to eat. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen and son, Craig Miller. Survivors include three daughters, Dawn Miller of Topeka, Paula Heggins and husband Tim of Mississippi, and Donna Buttron and husband Roy of Texas; seven grandchildren, Paige Miller, Awndraya Miller, Christie Williams, Amanda Buttron, Roy David Buttron, Amy Heggins, and Michelle Boggs; and nine great grandchildren.
