Marguerite Stevenson

Marguerite Stevenson, age 74, of Wellsville, Kansas, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. She was born on Tuesday, June 15, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Jack and Kathryn (Snow) Roberts. Marguerite moved from Kansas City to Hillsdale, Kansas in 1970, and Wellsville, Kansas in 1977. She was a homemaker. On Saturday, November 3, 1956, Marguerite was united in marriage with Eugene Merton “Gene” Stevenson in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2005. She is survived by her: Son – Ralph Eugene “Gene” Stevenson and his wife, Trisha, of Paola, Kansas; Son – Mark A. Stevenson of Wellsville, Kansas; Daughter – Terri Dye and her husband, Kyle, of Paola, Kansas; Brother – Martin Roberts and his wife, Inez, of Jackson, Missouri; Grandson – Ty Stevenson; Grandson – Tanner Stevenson; Granddaughter – Jessica Stevenson; Granddaughter – Katherine; Stevenson Granddaughter – Jordan Dye; Grandson – Garrett Stevenson; Gt.Grandchild – Kylee Stevenson; Gt.Grandchild – Kynlie Stevenson; Gt.Grandchild – Kash Stevenson; Gt.Grandchild – Alexis Stevenson and Gt.Grandchild – Jaxon Stevenson. She is preceded in death by her: Husband – Eugene “Gene” Stevenson; Parents – Jack and Kathryn Roberts and Brother – Otis Roberts. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012. IN STATE: Mrs. Stevenson will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Friday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 Friday evening.
