Margie Mae Adams

March 18, 1932 — April 17, 2005

She was a lifelong Ottawa resident. She was a homemaker. She also helped with the family businesses and worked for Parmalee Manufacturing several years, retiring in the late 1980`s. She was a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Ottawa and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5901 Auxiliary of Ottawa. On March 14, 1956, Margie was united in marriage with William Franklin (Bill) Adams at Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1998. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Bill Burns. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Adams at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas, with Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5901 Auxiliary services. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to V.F.W. Memorial Post #5901 Auxiliary, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
