Lora Marie White

Lora Marie White, 75, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.

Memorial Graveside Service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.

Lora was born Saturday, June 26, 1948, in Hillsdale, Kansas, the daughter of Wilbur and Nadine (Barkley) White.

She lived in Denver, Colorado for several years along with Point of Rocks, Maryland and Holly Springs North Carolina, before moving to Ottawa in 2010.

Lora graduated from Paola High School with the class of 1966.

She was united in marriage on April 5, 1991, in Frederick, Maryland to Robert T. Burkhart. He survives of the home.

Lora was a very loving and meticulous homemaker. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden and especially loved her family and friends.

Lora was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kenny White.

Along with her husband, survivors include two sisters Carol Player (Bob) of Ottawa, Kansas and Patti Moser (Dale) of Paola, Kansas; along with many nieces and nephews.
