Lonna Sue Myers

Lonna Sue Myers, 65, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Medicalodges Iola, Iola, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Lonna was born October 28, 1958, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Sherman A. and Mary A. (Hoover) Smith.

She lived most of her life in Ottawa, Kansas attending Ottawa High School.

In 1994, Lonna was united in marriage in Ottawa, Kansas to Scott Myers. He preceded her in death in 2013.

Lonna enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling. She took great pride in her home, family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Along with her husband Scott, she was preceded in death by parents Sherman and Mary and granddaughter Cheyanne Branson.

Survivors include daughters Christina Branson of Topeka, Kansas, Julie Branson of Perry, Kansas, and Michelle Branson of Iola, Kansas; sisters Connie Smith of Ottawa, Kansas, and Linda Smith of Lawrence, Kansas; brother Sherman Smith, Jr. of Honolulu, Hawaii; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
