Lance Alan Keim, 58, of Baldwin City, Kansas, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kansas.
A celebration of life service and family visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, Kansas.
Private family internment will be held later at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
Lance was born Monday, June 29, 1964, in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Donald and Nancy (Keller) Keim.
He lived in Eudora, Kansas for seven years moving to Baldwin City in 1998.
Lance graduated from Pomona High School with the class of 1983. He received his vocational training at Atchison, Kansas as a mechanic. He completed a five-year electrical training apprenticeship with IBEW Local 226 apprenticeship program.
He was united in marriage to Connie Harvill October 12, 1991. She survives of the home.
Lance worked for McElroy Electric in Topeka, Kansas, for twenty-four years as a journeyman electrician.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electricians Local #226 Topeka, Kansas.
Lance had a strong faith in the Lord. He loved to fish and travel; was very creative; and was an avid artist and carpenter. Lance enjoyed tinkering in his shop, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Nancy Keim; and sister, Cindy Keim.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Keim, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
